Frequently Asked Questions
-
Anaemia is a medical condition that occurs when your body lacks enough healthy red blood cells or haemoglobin to carry sufficient oxygen to your tissues. This oxygen shortage frequently leaves you feeling unusually tired, weak, and short of breath.
-
Anaemia is most commonly caused by a lack of iron, which your body needs to make haemoglobin. It can also be triggered by a shortage of vitamins like B12 or folate, sudden or chronic blood loss (such as from heavy periods or ulcers), or underlying conditions that cause your body to destroy or stop producing red blood cells.

The Oona Hb Test is currently under development. Further information shall be released in the coming year.
